CanSupport, the organization that has pioneered palliative care for cancer patients, is celebrating Friendship Day at Select City Walk Mall, New Delhi, from August 5th to 7th. The celebration is built around the theme ''Spreading Smiles this Friendship Day''. It aims to associate people with a cause that requires a wide public response so that more and more people with cancer and their families can be supported and helped.

At the event visitors will be invited to make a contribution of their choice to CanSupport. They can also become 'Friends of CanSupport' by paying a minimum amount of just Rs.30. In return, a membership card will be given to them which will be valid for one year. A blue ribbon will also be pinned on all the visitors who visit the CanSupport desk. Some additional exciting activities have been planned for all these days like a lucky draw.
The winner of this draw will get a free entry donor pass for a special benefit concert being held on August 28, 2011 in aid of CanSupport at which renowned classical singer Shubha Mudgal will be the main performer.
